Hey Folks,

Bordeaux is my last stop in France before heading to Spain. The city was just a nice finish for France with the skies barely clearing for a stroll around the old quarter.

A late afternoon involved a tour through a high end restaurant sampling wine, cheese and ham.

Au Revoir,

D.

A nice tour involved a wine history/geography lesson combined with a tasting.

Cheese heaven. The Chamonbert tasted like it smelled, like a mouldy rag drenched in sweat. The Brye, although just as old and textured, tasted completely different. The blend was sharp without the mouldy taste and and amazing hot spicey aftertaste that faded really quickly.

You could take any amount you choose.

The mold surrounding the cheeses was something you quickly overcame, and ate.
