Ta Prohm Ruins (Day Two of Four)

To quote Lonely Planet, ""Ta Prohm is undoubtedly the most atmospheric ruin at Ankor" . These ruins were built in 1186.

These trees grow ontop of anything, walls, temples, even other trees. In the dry season (now) the lower roots all but dry up.

This trees sub-structure looked like a giant snake. Wait a minute.....do these trees even have sub-structures?

This tree was killer. It had grown over a previous dead tree.

These temples arent just stone, the stonework detail is THE best in the world.
