Guest House

The front of the guest house in Kyoto.

A nice 2.5 hour on the bullet train got me to Kyoto. The distance from Kyoto to Tokyo is about the same as Vancouver to Calgary, so you can imagine the speed the train went. Ill get some pictures of the train next time. Its neat.

The place is really nice. Its very very clean. Showers and bathrooms all over. They have fancy seat warmers and sprayers in the toilets. Nice guest house.

Funny story. I was just leaving Tokyo so I cleaned all my clothes and showered/shaved. I decided to trim up my head a bit. So I started but then dropped the buzzer in the sink. Picked it up again, nothing broken. I started to shave again and BAM! It was on the shortest setting! So yah, im a buddist for 2 weeks now. HAHA!

Daniel, you missed our big earth quake here in Hawaii. It was so much fun. Our house was shaking, things fell off the shelves..really amazing how powerful mother nature is. I love your blog. You seem like you're having a great time. Aloha, Krista.
